Thiarir’s Past

Like many vil­lagers, Thiarir has lived in Arca­dia for pretty much all of his life. Before becom­ing the Elder, he used to be the village’s far­rier. Now that he has attained his posi­tion, he tends to pre­fer more eso­teric things, and thus his advice to vil­lagers who come to ask it is fre­quently either incom­pre­hen­si­ble or useless.

Nev­er­the­less he seems to have a soft spot for Tsuki and his adven­tures, and the Elder has fre­quently accom­pa­nied the young man on trips taken for no rea­son at all other than for the adven­ture of it. He quite enjoys them, actu­ally, although he’d never admit that to the villagers.

Thiarir is the only mem­ber of the vil­lage who knows the cir­cum­stances in which the infant Tsuki was brought to Arca­dia 14 years ago…
